In the past 60 years of Children Leukemia Foundation of Michigan’s history, we’ve grown to serve more than 4,400 patients and families across the state of Michigan. While many CLF patient families visit or speak with our team here in metro Detroit, we also serve a large concentration of families in west Michigan. To better serve the west Michigan community, we are thrilled to announce we are opening the doors to our new satellite office in Grand Rapids, Michigan! We have successfully secured a spot in the McKay Tower, but we need your help to make our first satellite office a reality!

Our annual Holiday Toys Open House is one of the most memorable, fun events for many Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan families and volunteers. The holidays can be a tough time for families battling cancer because patients are often unable to participate in traditional holiday activities due to health concerns. Holiday parties and visits with Santa in uncontrolled, public environments can put patients in treatment or recovery at risk due to their weakened immune systems. Continue reading →

We believe every child should experience the joy of the holiday season. Unfortunately, patients in treatment for leukemia and blood-related cancers, as well as their families, have little funds or time to spare for holiday celebrations due to the treatment expenses and time spent in hospital clinics.
